Survey on partner and stakeholder understanding of CGIAR

Message on behalf of the CGIAR Consortium

CGIAR is an important constituent of the Global Forum on Agricultural Research. In the wake of recent reform to the structure and funding of CGIAR, we have been asked to reach out to all the other institutions, networks, fora and constituencies active in the Global Forum to help collect feedback from partners and stakeholders on the perceptions of what the organization stands for and what it means to its stakeholders. This email invites you to complete an online survey which opened this week.

The overall objective is for all stakeholders to benefit from improved clarity and awareness about the role of CGIAR.  Any organization that promotes and disseminates agricultural research is dependent upon its reputation for the effectiveness of its communications; and ultimately the impact of its outputs.

You may, or may not, currently have links with or detailed knowledge of CGIAR but, whether you know the organization or not, your feedback is important to the success of this exercise.  This information will help improve future communications, and help CGIAR to provide a baseline from which to measure their future performance.

The survey should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. None of the information you provide will be reported in any way that can identify you personally.

Please click here to go to the survey now.The survey closing date is Friday 8th March 2013.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Mark Holderness
Executive Secretary,
The Global Forum on Agricultural Research
