Our Future starts Today
[News]
The deadline for the Millennium Development Goals is approaching fast. We know that while there have been many real achievements as a result of these collective goals, successes have been mixed and we have not met all as fully as we would all hope. The road is still long…
But it is now time to think about the next steps, beyond the MDG, and to think differently. Many initiatives are taking places calling for extensive consultations through the Internet to define new goals. Let’s take this opportunity to bring our voices as those who care about agriculture, food and rural development into the process. The Post-2015 development goals will be different, they can be yours, join the consultations, let your voice be heard!
To help you participate in these processes, below is a (non-exhaustive) list of links to relevant on-going consultations, including some that are just starting. All are identifying future agriculture-related challenges from a wide range of perspectives and will bring together social and technical considerations. This list will be regularly updated on egfar.org. If you are aware about other events/processes please contact .
