Mathur, Shantanu
Mr. Mathur is currently the Coordinator of the IFAD Grants Programme and is also the Senior Technical Adviser for Economic and Financial Analysis at the Technical Advisory Division, IFAD. He has worked in the area of pro-poor rural development for over 24 years - 3 of which were at FAO HQ in Rome and the other 21 years were with IFAD HQ, in Rome - in various capacities including Associate Project Controller (Africa Division, IFAD), Resource-Economist, Senior Technical Advisory and management roles, including as the Coordinator of IFAD’s Grants Programme. He has extensive field mission experience in all the developing regions of the world. His educational qualifications include two Post-graduate/Masters Degrees: a professional Masters degree in Business Economics, University of New Delhi and an M.A. in Applied and Advanced Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK.
