Impact Assessment Officer Position at CIAT

The Impact Assessment (IA) Officer coordinates and advances the generation of science-based evidence of ex-ante and ex-post research outcomes and impacts. Deadline for applications: screening of CVs will continue until the position is filled.

The International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) aims to achieve a more
eco-efficient agriculture at the service of the poor of Latin America and the
tropical world. The strategy proposed is based on three pillars: (1) improved crops for the poor, (2) improved soil fertility management, and (3) programmatic alliances with Latin America and the Caribbean. Fundamental to achieving our goals is a concerted effort in understanding how impact occurs and how we can design our research programs to maximize on the ground positive change.
The Impact Assessment (IA) Officer coordinates and advances the generation of science-based evidence of ex-ante and ex-post research outcomes and impacts.
The Officer supports all CIAT research for development programs as part of a small technical group including spatial analysis expertise. The position is internationally recruited, CIAT seeks applications for an Impact Assessment Officer under the Researcher Category. The officer will be housed in the Decision and Policy Analysis Program of CIAT, and will lead a small team of 2 additional research support staff.
