DFID’s Research Strategy for 2008-2013 was launched by the Secretary of State for International Development, Douglas Alexander, on 22 April 2008.
The new strategy is the product of extensive consultation with stakeholders in the UK, developing countries and internationally; DFID thanks all those who gave their views to help shape it. It builds on DFID’s past research achievements but takes us in new directions.
