The Second Global Conference on Agricultural Research for Development (GCARD2) will be held in Punta del Este (Uruguay) from 29 October to 1 November 2012. The main venue for GCARD2, the Conrad Convention Center (puntadeleste.conradmeetings.com), was identified by the Government of Uruguay in view of its excellent conference facilities and services. Several international conferences have already been organized at the Conrad.
