International Trypanotolerance Centre (ITC) is seeking a new Director General ITC is an independent regional research institute located in Banjul, the Gambia. Its mission is to contribute to the effort of increasing livestock productivity and utilisation in low input and market orientated production systems of West Africa with particular reference to the coastal countries of The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Senegal and Sierra Leone through the optimal and sustainable exploitation of livestock for the welfare of the human populations. Agyemang, will be leaving at the end of 2005 and the ITC Council is seeking his replacement. Applicants should have:
Preference will be given to candidates from West Africa. The selected candidate will be expected to commence duties by 1 November 2005 if possible.
