The Global Forum’s mission is to mobilize all stakeholders involved in gricultural research and innovation systems for development, and to support their efforts to alleviate poverty, increase food security and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

The Forum’s Strategic Objectives
Our main Strategic Objectives are as follows:

• To build consensus and strengthen advocacy for action in relation to agricultural research and innovation priorities;
  
• To promote global and regional partnerships for collaborative research and innovation;

• To strengthen the institutional capacities of GFAR and its stakeholders.
