Pesce, Valeria

Valeria Pesce has worked for six years for the GFAR Secretariat as webmaster and information management specialist.

Following her degree in Literatures and Languages, she received formal education and professional training as a librarian and as a computer programmer.
Before starting to collaborate with the GFAR Secretariat, she worked for private companies and then as a free-lance webmaster and data management specialist.

In the GFAR Secretariat, she works under the "Knowledge for All" pillar, focusing on issues related to information exchange and information flows and collaborating closely with GFAR stakeholders, primarily the FAO OEKC group, on the design of agricultural information systems and information management tools.
